MBBS, DNB (General Surgery), FACS (USA), FBMS (RGUHS), FMIS (RGUHS), FIAGES, FACRSI, FALS- HPB, FIBC, EFIAGES

After completing his MBBS from M.S. Ramaiah medical college, Bangalore in 2005 & internship in 2006, he went on to pursue post-graduation in General surgery from St. Philomena’s hospital, Bangalore in 2007. He has trained under highly experienced General, Trauma, Gastro-intestinal & Minimal invasive surgeons and completed his Diplomate of National Board in General surgery in 2010. He then subsequently worked as a Senior Registrar in the departments of General and Plastic surgery at St. Philomena’s hospital.

His keen interest in Minimal invasive and gastro-intestinal surgery led him to pursue full time Fellowship in Minimal Invasive Surgery (FMIS) from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health sciences, where he underwent training in basic, advanced laparoscopic and gastro-intestinal surgeries including foregut, hepato-biliary, pancreatic and colorectal surgeries under the guidance of highly renowned faculty.

He further went on to pursue another full time Fellowship in Metabolic and Bariatric surgery (FBMS), a two-year training programme again from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health sciences. He has trained in a variety of metabolic & bariatric surgeries including banded procedures and redo surgeries from respectable surgeons of national and international repute.
